This year, as is customary, the oyster roast & charity auction will be held at the BrewGeeks house and we thank them in advance for their hospitality Thanks to all the people behind the scenes who have been working diligently to make this yet another success. The meeting is scheduled for February 7th, starting at around 2:00 pm. Directions to the BrewGeeks house are as follows:

Gates at the bottom of the driveway open with a button at the driver's side window. When leaving, gates open with a button on the back side of the dog sign on the left side of the driveway. Please be aware of some changes and requirements to attend: - The cover charge is $5.00 for each adult - no charge for children.
- We will require a mandatory sign in on the liability waiver sheet and card those who look younger than 80 years old.
- We will initiate wrist bands at this meeting. The purpose is to ensure sign in on the waiver. No sign in - no wrist band / no beer - no service.
- Please don't bring dogs, ours are too crazy to handle it.
- Please don't feed our dogs and any other animals you may find lurking about.
- Parking will be in the yard on either side of the driveway.
- If you are bringing chili, or other food that requires an electrical outlet, please let me know in advance so that we can accommodate your needs.
As this is our charity auction, please bring items we can raffle off. It would be helpful if you could send me a list of things you plan on bringing. The charity that has been selected for 2009 is Safe Harbor. We will have a representative from Safe Harbor attending to give us a brief speech about their charitable ministry outreach. Let's all show our support for Safe harbor by making this charity auction a success. Also please remember this is our high gravity challenge. Please bring all your beers that are 7% and over for the tasting. |
