July's meeting will be at
Halfway to Habana 2 starting at around 2:00
pm on July 18th. This is an open beer theme so bring what you have been
brewing. Additionally, there is no structured meal plan for this meeting so
bring anything and everything that goes well with beer, wine, and cigars.

In case anyone missed it, BobbyC has
issued the beer challenge for August: Hoppy Hefe's. Sounds

has been transferred to it's resting place for the duration. Take a look in

| | T-SHIRTS OR WHAT: I am trying to get some competitive
pricing on Denim Shirts, and a few other items so that we can vote
constructively on what we wish to purchase this year. Personally, I like the
denim shirt idea, but also like the idea of saving the money and going on a
brews cruise with the club. Just my .02 cents worth and as usual, I'm
probably overselling myself. | |

The next two meeting dates in September and October are
still tagged tenative. For those hosts, please confirm some dates to me as

CLUB BUSINESS: For our
last "Upstate Brewtopians Of The Year" award recipients, remember,
November is not that far away. Nominations for the coveted annual award should
start in September and the award(s) should be handed out in November.
Additionally, we have another sticky situation coming
up in September. As you all know we incorporated the club, ratified a set of
by-laws, and voted in members of the Board Of Directors. Technically, my term
is up in September '09. I give you all two choices:
1. You can vote to allow me a two year extension to
serve with the recently appointed Board of Directors.
2. You can start the nomination process for a new
president.
I feel this matter should be discussed amongst
yourselves in my absence (how convenient huh?) - and at the very least a
motion and majority be placed before the Board of Directors as to which choice
