| June's meeting will be held at
the Thomas Creek Brewery starting at around 2:00 PM on June 13th.
This will be our BBQ challenge and we hope that if all goes well, we
can make this an annual event. You can bring your completed BBQ
entry or you can BBQ onsite. Remember it must be actually ready by
the time the meeting starts so that the judges can make their
decision. I'm looking forward to sampling all the offerings. This
will be an open beer theme, so bring what you've brewed.

| AUGUST
BEER CHALLENGE: In case anyone missed it, BobbyC has
issued the beer challenge for August: Hoppy Hefe's. Sounds
interesting. Get brewing! |

| BIG
BREW DAY IN MAY: Our Bourbon Barrel Mead should be almost
ready to transfer in a week or so. Steve-o has been taking very good
care of the brew, and is in the process of building the Daddy of Son
of Chiller to receive the Bourbon Barrel filled with the nectar of
the gods. |

WHAT:
At the meeting at RedClayBrewer's house, I asked for ideas about
what we could do different this year as far as swag. I'm not sure
about you guys, but I have quite the collection of USB t-shirts, and
taster glasses. Does anyone want to try something different this
year? How about some ideas? I heard a good one at the meeting which
was coasters. That would be something I would want. A nice set of
coasters for my pints. How about the rest of you. I need input. Give
me some ideas. |

MEETING DATE: I thought I was going to have something
set up for July, but those plans have fallen through. Does anyone
not currently hosting a meeting this year, want to step up to the
plate? It would be much appreciated. |
